Programs that foster artistic growth
Each week at EFM is filled with music and discovery. Our three orchestra programs bring together talented young artists under the guidance of renowned conductors and coaches to explore major works of the orchestral repertoire. These performances light up the magnificent Dana Auditorium on the Guilford College campus, thrilling both musicians and audiences alike.
Beyond the orchestra, chamber music is at the heart of EFM. Throughout the season, students and faculty share the stage in a vibrant mix of performances—from faculty concerts held twice weekly to student ensemble recitals presented as each group is ready to shine. Weekly piano recitals and special mixed-ensemble concerts, often celebrating featured composers, add even more color to the musical landscape.

Local audiences, volunteers, and supporters will transform each performance, from neighborhood concerts to evening recitals at Dana Auditorium. The energy of Greensboro will sustain and inspire every note played.
EFM’s presence will enrich the city’s cultural life. Together with the people of Greensboro, they will make the summer a living expression of what music can do—build connection, foster joy, and create belonging.
